Did you know that the future of our vehicles is actually part of our past?

That a young engineer called “Porsche” developed a Hybrid (electro/gas) vehicles as early as 1899 in Germany?

Then in the 1940s the gas (=oil) powered cars dominated the planet…and still do…

I wonder how this came about… I guess the oil industry was more powerful than the electricity producers…?

So now – 110 years later – we are again on the verge of a Hybrid era…having reached Peak Oil I am sure this time they are here to stay…
