Does Solar Powered Water Pump really make Sense?

Using the sun for powering pumps in your garden, pond or fountain really sounds like a nice idea.

But there are some problems… the return on investment is only achievable over decades, the pumps, panels and (if included) battery packs are often unreliable and you should build your Koi breeding NOT on Solar Pumps at all – at least not alone…
